Stephan Grabmeier is chief innovation officer at Kienbaum Consultants International. Furthermore, Mr. Grabmeier supports the digital transformation of boards and corporations, helping them to accelerate their innovation-process. Kienbaum is a family-owned business, which itself evolved into a New Work company and, at the same time, successfully transitioned into the third generation. Kienbaum’s vision is giving a future to people and organizations.

In 2007 Grabmeier was awarded as one of the “40 Leading Heads in HR” in Germany by the trade journal Personalmagazin for the second time already. He initiated the German events HR Innovation Slam, HR Safari, Silicon Valley Leadership Garage and HR Garage, and keeps developing new innovation formats for the HR Scene. 2013 he founded the start-up initiative in cooperation with German DGFP and, thereby, took a stance for the purposeful support of early-stage start-up businesses. Grabmeier personally invested into these companies as a business angel and further supports them as an advisor.

2013 Grabmeier was among the winners of the German Online Communications Award which the magazine Pressesprecher awards for outstanding projects and forward-looking strategies in digital communication. The digital transformation expert won both, the “Corporate Web 2.0 Award” by IIR in 2012 and the title of “Social Media Innovator” by W&V magazine in 2011, for his work. Grabmeier is a well-known blogger and author for several books and trade journals. As executive manager of Selbst-GmbH e.V. he has been contributing to strengthening the innovative capability within the field of HR for over 15 years.

Prior to his work at Kienbaum, Grabmeier was chief innovation evangelist at Haufe group, one of Germany’s digital champions. Before that he drove the digital transformation of German Telekom AG as their head of culture initiatives for over 5 years. Previously the business graduate worked as a managing director for Master Management Deutschland GmbH. Further stations in his professional career were leadings positions as head of high tech campus at Cortal Consors AG and HR manager at HypoVereinsbank AG.
