Rasmus is a co-founder at Merantix, a Berlin based AI venture studio leveraging deep learning to build products in health (automating radiological workflow), automotive (testing autonomous driving systems), and finance (algorithmic trading). He obtained a PhD while studying computer science with a focus on (deep) machine learning at Oxford, Princeton and ETH Zurich. He founded HackZurich, which became the biggest hackathon in Europe, scaled a deep learning powered service to 150m users and previously interned as a product manager at Google.
